Ron Guth:

The 1806 Large Cent is a common date in the series and, fortunately for collectors, only one variety makes up the entire mintage. In circulated grades, this date is easy to find. Approximately a dozen examples are known in Mint State, all of which are Brown except for a single Red-Brown example. No full Red examples are known. The price record for this date is the $51,750 paid for the Tom Reynolds PCGS MS66RB in the 2016 Goldbergs sale.
