Jaime Hernandez:

The 1819/8 Large Cent is considered a major variety, as remnants of an 8 digit can easily be seen with the naked eye. This overdate variety is scarce in almost all grades,. It also becomes very scarce in Uncirculated condition. Especially in MS64 condition or higher it is very hard to find and is very seldom offered in the marketplace in these grades.
