One example resides in the National Numismatic Collection at the Smithsonian Institution, making the second example the only possibility for someone seeking a Proof of this date. The second example passed through the F.C.C. Boyd and John Jay Pittman collections on its way to its appearance in a Heritage sale in April 2015, where it sold for $211,500.
