This is the eight year in which the Gold Spouse series has been issued by the U.S. Mint. The Florence Harding design is also the first design issued for the year 2014 in the spouse coin series. Most proof coins were struck and packaged well yielding mostly PR69 and PR70 Deep Cameo examples. The U.S. Mint issued the Florence Spouse coins on July 10, 2014. The Mint sold the coins at an issue price of $865 for each proof coin.
