Ron Guth:

Judd A1935-2 is comprised of three (possibly four) trials of the reverse hub for the 1935 Hudson Half Dollar. Two examples were struck on copper-plated silver planchets of roughly the normal diameter for a Half Dollar. The third example was struck on over-sized planchet made of what appears to be pure copper. The composition of the potential fourth example is unknown.

The Hudson hub trials rarely appear on the market. Noted author and commemorative specialist, Anthony Swiatek, once owned two of them, both of which appeared in a Heritage sale in 2015.
