Series: Territorials
Three demonstrably different examples are known of the Templeton Reid $10 without date:
1. MS62, Prooflike estimated grade (per John Dannreuther). National Numismatic Collection at the Smithsonian Institution. Illustrated in Breen's Encyclopedia.
2. EF, scratched, estimated grade. Virgil Brand - C.E. Green - Smith & Sons - Lilly - National Numismatic Collection at the Smithsonian Institution. Double struck on the reverse, showing clear doubling on most stars and the GEO and A or GEORGIA and the G of GOLD. Breen claims that this coin was illustrated in the "Redbook" from 1947-1970, but that honor belong to the following.
3. AU, cleaned (per Breen). Henrick - Todd - Dubose - Mertes - Ball - Kreisberg-Schulman 5/1966:1514, $29,000 - Dupont. Illustrated in the "Redbook" from 1947-1970 (plate-matched to the 1966 Kresiberg-Schulman sale)
